Summary
Rolleiflex twin lens reflex camera, made by Franke and Heidecke from 1932 to 1938. Metal hood reveals focusing distances and sports finder. Sports finder has a cross and small concave mirror in the middle. Hinged back has exposure guide with red window underneath. Carl Zeiss Tessar 75mm lenses. Compur shutter with manufacturer and 'Braunshweig' (place of production) marked above top lens on shutter plate. Metal film winding lever on left hand side. Focusing knob, on left hand side is marked, but engravings (with distances?) can be read. Spool knob also on left hand side. Brown leather camera strap is attached to metal side bar and rivet on each side of camera.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
