Summary
Kodak A. G. Retina 1 compact, self-erecting, folding camera in fitted leather case. Possibly type 119, manufactured between 1936-8. Fitted with a Kodak Anastigmat Ektor f3.5, 50mm lens. Camera cannot be removed from case as bottom knob appears to be stuck to leather, possibly due to white powdery corrosion residue.

Part of The Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
