A monochrome gelatine silver print by Hay Wrightson in portrait format depicting a half length portrait of a man in dress uniform with medals and badges including the Order of the Garter, the Order of the Bath, the Royal Victorian Order, the Order of St Michael and St George (which is hanging from his collar). The photograph is mounted on heavy card. Markings: Recto: handwritten in pencil along the bottom edge: Hay Wrightson, London. Verso: "34077C" Hay Wrightson (1874-1949) was a photographer and owner of the photography firm Hay Wrightson Ltd, the firm continued after the death of Wrightson.
