Summary

Monochrome albumen print in landscape format, depicting a woman and two men sitting on the steps around a well in the centre of a piazza at San Gimignano near Florence in Tuscany, Italy. The image is mounted on grey paper and this is mounted on dark grey board, which has damage - some parts of the edges are torn/missing. Date unknown. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in black ink: "S. Gemignano (sic) one of the hill towns of Tuscany. The Piazza. Negative and enlargement by C N Christie Miller".
