Summary
Gelatine silver glass dry plate negative in landscape format, depicting the Horikiri Shobuen Iris Garden in Tokyo, Japan. There are several buildings amongst trees and iris plants and people in the closest open-sided structure. Additional information handwritten on the sleeve (not original): "52. June 12 1909. Horikiri Iris garden. Nesan under wisteria shelter. SSO Diff F/22 ½" Part of the Christie Miller Collection.
