Summary

Gelatine silver glass dry plate negative in landscape format, depicting a honden in Japan; the most sacred hall of a Shinto shrine. The building is amongst trees and is enclosed by a fence. A person is standing in front of the fence. Additional information handwritten on the sleeve (not original): "64. May 29. Kizuki Honden thru trees. F/16 1 sec. Part of the Christie Miller Collection.
