Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver photograph in portrait format, depicting trees in some gardens in Rome, probably at the Pincio (Pincian HIll). There is a building in the distance. The image is mounted on grey paper and then on dark grey card. The image has a matt finish and there is minor silvering at the edges. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "No. 1. ?Pincio Gardens". Part of the Christie-Miller collection; photographs taken by Charles Wakefield Christie-Miller (1877-1976).
