Summary
Talbotype glass plate negative. An image depicting the Fontaine Saint-Sulpice in Paris (constructed between 1843 and 1848). Two of the four figures of the monument are visible in this image: Massillon and Fléchier. The glass plate is bound around the edges with black tape. It appears that the plate is backed by a cover glass. There is a white label affixed along the bottom edge, upon which is handwritten in black ink: "Talbotype Negative on Glass. Exhibited by Henneman & Malone". Note: Henneman and Malone were associated with Fox Talbot and worked at the Reading Establishment.
