Summary
A Dufaycolor transparency stereograph depicting a view along a tree-lined country road, in autumn. There is a long straight road heading into the distance, flanked by a stone wall on the right, behind which are mature trees. More trees line the other side of the road. The transparencies are mounted between two pieces of card, with an additional sheet of transparent film over one side. Recto is black card, verso is beige card, both with rounded corners. The apertures through which the images are viewed are hand-cut and have square corners and straight edges. There is a space of 8 mm between them. Markings: Recto - None. Verso - On the right hand side, stamped in ink: "T.H. Pettipher. Chipping Norton". On the left hand side, handwritten in black ink: "Autumn".
