Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph view of rowing on the River Dart, Devon. The image shows 2 men being rowed by another man in a wooden boat. There appears to be a cycle layed flat behind the 2 men. The image is taken from another rowing boat, with an oar in the foreground. The river is quite wide at this point, with rolling hills running down to the far bank. The 2 images have square corners and are straight edged, with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is light grey on recto and verso, with a white surround, and rounded corners. Markings: Recto - Handwritten in pencil, on the right hand side, "on the Dart". Verso - nil
