Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph view of The Guildhall, Exeter, Devon. The image is taken from the far side of the High Street and shows the tramway lines in the foreground, though there is a horsedrawn cart on the left.There is a man standing infront carrying a variety of goods, probably for sale. Either side of the Guildhall are 3 and 4 story shops, with numerous people walking on the pavement in front. The 2 images have square corners and are straight edged, with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is light grey on recto and verso, with a white surround, and rounded corners. Markings: Recto - Handwritten in pencil, on the right hand side, "Guildhall, Exeter". Verso - nil
