Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of a view of the tables set out for Coronation Dinner 1902, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, taken from an elevated position. It features the elongated tables with numbers on them, that have been set up along side a road. Some of the tables are set out with crockery, cutlery and glasses. There are a number of people and children walking around. A row of local shops is in the background. The 2 images have square corners and are straight edged, with a space of 1mm between them. They are mounted on card which is light grey on recto and verso. It has rounded corners. Markings: Recto - nil Verso - Handwritten in pencil, "The tables before dinner June 26/02 ". Handwritten in black pen, "T.H. Pettipher"
