Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of a view of the Fish Inn, Willersey, Gloucestershire, taken from across an unmade road. A well dressed man is standing in the road facing the stairs leading upto the square plan tower with pyramid roof. Standing by the front door are a number of men and women, alongside a bicycle leading against the wall. The 2 images have square corners and are straight edged, with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is medium grey on recto and verso. It has rounded corners. The image was quite likely taken by T.H. Pettipher of Oxfordshire, based on similar images in the same set. Markings: Recto - Nil Verso - Nil
Provenance
