Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of snow scene at The Cleeves, Chipping Norton. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image depicts a large snowfall in a narrow rural lane where the trees and bushes on the left hand side have snow outlining their branches. There is a small stream in front of the hedgerow. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snow 1916" and "The Cleeves Chipping Norton".
