Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of snow at Worcester Road, near Salford. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image depicts a large snowfall in a rural lane, which has had a pathway cleared towards some houses on the right in the distance, there are people still clearing a way. On the edges of the path the snow is piled up, and there is a tree on the left and powerlines on the right. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snow 1916" and "Worcester Rd Chipping Norton".
