Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of fallen powerlines at Worcester Road, near Salford. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image depicts a country lane, with small amounts of snow on the verge. Thepowerlines have fallen downand the wooden support is at an angle of 60%. There are smalltrees and buses on both sides of the lane. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snow,after Feb 25 1916" and "Worcester Rd Nr Salford".
