Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of a horse-drawn open goods wagon in the snow, West Street, Chipping Norton. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image depicts two horses pulling an open goods wagon in a snowy street. Each horse is mounted by a male rider. The location is West Street in Chipping Norton, outside T K Pettipher & Son, (grocer & tea dealer). Beyond is the Kings Arms pub (still standing) and the Liberal Club. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snow, Feb 25th Mch 10th 1916 " and "Chipping Norton".
