Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of snowfall above Chipping Norton. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image shows a view of Chipping Norton taken from the Norton Road. It is framed by a large tree left in the foreground with a mound of snow. Prominent in the background is the church of St Mary the Virgin. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snow, Feb 25th1916 " and "Chipping Norton Church from over Norton Rd".
