Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of clearing snow in the Enstone Road, Chipping Norton. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image depicts 4 men clearing snow from a road, using shovels. They are working on a drift on the left. There are wheel tracks through the thick snow on the right, paralleling a hedge. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snowfall, Feb 25 Mar 10 1916 " and "The Enstone Road".
