Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of snowfall at Worcester Road, Chipping Norton. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image depicts a snowy semi rural road that appears not to have been cleared, though there are wheel tracks visible. The snow has drifted to a substantial height on the left hand side.The footpath on the right had been well trodden, with several people visible. There are several rows of houses on the right hand side. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snow, Feb 25 1916 - March 10th" and "Worcester Rd Chipping Norton".
