Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of snowfall in Chipping Norton. The 2 images are straight edged with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is maroon on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image depicts a snowy road that has been partially cleared. There are a number of horse-drawn carriages and people walking in the distance. There is a row of substantial 3 story buildings on the right hand side, while there are a number of buildings on the left hand side, including one with the name "Ivy House" painted between the first and second floor. Markings: Verso: Handwritten in pencil: "Snowfall, 1916 Feb 24-March 10" and "Chipping Norton".
