Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of Elm tree, Sandford St Martin, Oxfordshire. The 2 images are straight edged and butt up to each other with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is matt black on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image shows a large Wych elm tree trunk and lower branches with grassland in front. Markings: Recto, In white pen, under the right image the number "46". Verso, a pre-printed proforma in black ink has space for details of the photograph. Only the title has been completed, handwritten in pencil - "Curious joined limb in very large Wch Elm at Sandfor St Martin".
