Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of a pulpit, maybe in Shorthampton Church, Oxfordshire. The 2 images are straight edged and butt up to each other with no space between them. They are mounted on card which is Shiny brown on recto and dark grey-brown on verso. It has rounded corners. The image shows a pulpit, next to a plain wall on the left. There are 2 stone steps up to it and pews on the left. The back wall has part of a window. Markings: Verso, a pre-printed proforma in black ink has space for details of the photograph.Underneath this, handwritten in pencil - "Shorthampton? ? Where is the wig holder".
