Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of the interior of St Mary the Virgin Church, Chipping Norton, Oxon. The 2 images, with rectangular top edges, are mounted in a black card frame with rounded corners and no gap between them. The image shows The perpendicular nave of the Church with pillars, pews, hanging lights. Above the Nave can be seen the 15th Century clerestory whose windows made the Church very light. Markings: Recto, written in pencil, horizontally in the top right hand corner,"3". Verso, written in black ink vertically on the right hand side, "Chipping Norton Church" and "1935".
