Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of a carved pew end, St Brannock's Church, Braunton, Devon. The 2 images, with rectangular top edges, are mounted in a black card frame with rounded corners and there is no space between them. The image shows the 16th century carved pew ends. This example shows a coat of arms, there is a sheild with a griffin either side, surmounted by a helmet, with a bird above it. At the bottom are 2 sets of initials "BF" and "EF". Markings: Verso, written in black ink vertically on the left hand side, "Bench End. Braunston Church, Devon". On the right hand side, "Subject not noted".
