Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of the ruined west end church gable at Castle Acre Priory, Castle Acre, Norfolk. The 2 images, with rectangular top edges, are mounted in a black card frame with rounded corners and a space of 2 mm between them. The image shows lawns running down to the ruined west end church gable of the priory. The whole of the gable is shown, though taken slightly from the left, to allow a view of further ruined walls in the background. Markings: Recto, written in pencil, horizontally in the top right hand corner,"100". Verso, written in black ink vertically on the left hand side, "Castle Acre, Norfolk" and "1948"
Provenance
