Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver print stereograph of the ruined south front and Lenthall Chapel, Burford Priory, Oxfordshire The 2 images, with rectangular top edges, are mounted in a grey card frame with rounded corners and no space between them. The image shows the priory in a state of disrepair, before restoration started in 1908. The area is grassed, with a small path leading upto the door. The main doorway has a functional wooden door with vegetation growing around it. There are statues and columns above it. Ground floor windows are broken and are partially shuttered from the inside. The house is connected to the chapel by a covered walkway. The Lenthall coat of arms can be seen above the door to the chapel. Markings: Recto, written in pencil, vertically on the right hand side,"Burford Priory"
