Summary
A monochrome collotype photomechanical print stereograph depicting a young woman in white dress trying to cross a stream by stepping across rocks. Photographically captioned in white type at the bottom of the left hand image is "1082 An Awkward Crossing place" (sic). The 2 images are printed on a single piece of paper, with no space between them. The print is mounted on buff rectangular card, with rounded corners and the right hand side of the card has been hand trimmed right up to the edge of the image (possibly to make it fit into a particular viewer).
