Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver stereograph of decorated cloisters of the Cathedral of Bressanone, SouthTyrol, Italy The 2 images are mounted on heavy grey card, with rounded corners and there is no space between them. The view shows the decorated vaulted cloisters. On the left are 2 prie-dieu. Markings: Recto, left handside handwritten in pencil, " 92.02". Verso, handwritten in pencil, " 7. Cloisters of old Benedictine Monastery at Brixen (Tyrol). Thomas (a 1?) Iso film f22- 15 second midday June, sunny. The vaulting is richly frescoed in gold & colours, and the cloisters (or ambulatory?) extend round three sides of a square". Printed in blue on a white label: "The United Stereoscopic Society. Secretary; Albert J. Snow. Set. (handwritten in red ink unintelligible). Slide No.(handwritten in red ink "78").
