Summary
A monochrome gelatine silver stereograph of a mountain view, taken from an arched terrace The 2 images are mounted on heavy black card, with rounded corners and with a space of 5mm between them. The view shows partially wooded mountains in the backound. In the foreground is a roughly paved terrace with a low wall on the right on which sit 2 columns which are supporting a domed roof. The building of the left may be a church, as it has tympana over 2 windows and an stone framed doorway, there is also a wall mounted stone bowl (possibly for holy water). There is a rough track leading away from the terrace that is bounded by fences on either side. On the right of the image in the midgound is quite a sizable village. Markings: Verso, handside handwritten in pencil, 2 unrecognisable words
