Summary
A wet collodion negative plate depicting a shop and house, viewed from across the road. The view is from behind the front fence and gate of a house, across the road where there is a fenced and gated house with trees in front. Next to this is a bootmaker's shop, and part of the shop sign can be seen: "...tedd. Bootmakers. 261". Approximately half-plate negative on roughly cut glass 126 mm x 102 mm (American size: 5" x 4".) Some of the collodion binder is missing from the corners, and some pour marks.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
