Summary
A wet collodion negative plate depicting the exterior of a house. The view is of the front of the house, taken from the road. There is a wooden fence and gate and tall trees, so that the house is partly obscured. Approximately half-plate negative on roughly cut glass 126 mm x 102 mm (American size: 5" x 4".) Some of the collodion binder is missing from the corners, there are cracks and pour marks.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
