Summary
A wet collodion negative plate depicting a woman seated a chair, in front of an open window. A full-length studio portrait with props. Approximately half-plate negative on roughly cut glass 126 mm x 102 mm (American size: 5" x 4".) Some collodion binder is missing from the corners, there are cracks and pour marks, and there are ripples in the varnish. The number 287 has been scratched into the collodion binder on the left and twice on the right side.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
