Summary
A wet collodion negative plate depicting a gentleman holding gloves and a top hat, standing by a small pedestal table. A full-length studio portrait with props. Approximately half-plate negative on roughly cut glass 126 mm x 102 mm (American size: 5" x 4".) Some collodion binder is missing from the corners, there are cracks and pour marks, and there are ripples in the varnish.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
