Summary
A wet collodion negative plate depicting a man standing with his elbow resting on a chair. A full-length studio portrait with props. Approximately half-plate negative on roughly cut glass 126 mm x 102 mm (American size: 5" x 4".) Three corners is blocked out, there are pour lines at the edges and ripples in the varnish. The number 448 has been scratched into the collodion binder in the top left corner.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
