Summary
A toned monochrome gelatine silver glass lantern slide, depicting a hillside town, probably in the middle east, with palm trees in the foreground. The image has been toned with a very pale green. There is a white paper label on the top left edge, upon which is handwritten "91". Two sheets of glass, 83 mm x 83 mm, one of which carries the image and the other is a cover glass, bound together with black fabric tape. Behind the cover glass there is a black paper mask over the images with square corners.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
