Summary
A Frena Gelatine Silver film negative depicting a view of a street scene near the south fascade of Beauvais Cathedral, Beauvais, Northern France. The negative has rectangular cutouts on the top and bottom. The view is taken from the ground level, looking up Rue Saint-Pierre towards the towers that were the entrance to former bishop's palace (now the Musée de l'Oise - art museum). The street is completely deserted, apart from part of a person in the bottom right hand corner and a single figure in the far distance. On both sides of the road are substantial 3 and 4 story buildings, one of which displays a large painted advertisment for photography and art objects. The Cathedral fascade looks just part of the street scenes on the left.
