Summary
A Frena Gelatine Silver film negative depicting a view of a street scene beneath Chartres Cathedral, Chartres , France. The negative has rectangular cutouts on the top and bottom.The view is taken from the ground level, and shows several men and women walking down a tree lined street. There are buildings on both sides, with advertisments attached to the wall, extreme right. Mid image, a set of steps with a balustrade leads upto the right.To the north in the background is Chartres Cathedral.
