Summary
A Frena Gelatine Silver film negative depicting a view of a street scene beneath Amiens Cathedral, Amiens, Picardy, France. The negative has rectangular cutouts on the top and bottom.The view is taken from the ground level, in Rue de la Dodane, and shows many people standing around, with a few sitting. There are a number of carts and in the foreground, a man is sweeping the street. In the midground there is a coach, from which a woman is dismounting. On its roof, 3 men are playing musical instruments. On both sides of the road are substantial 2 and 3 story buildings and in the background is Amiens Cathedral.
