Summary
A Frena Gelatine Silver film negative depicting a view of the Basilica of St. Martin and the Charlemagne Tower, Tours, France. The negative has rectangular cutouts on the top and bottom.The view is taken from the ground level, looking down the street towards the Charlemagne Tower. There are numerous people walking around, with a cart on the left hand side in the foreground and tram tracks in the road. The Basilica of St. Martin is on the left hand side and the view is of the front. However, this is partially obscured by a high wall and gate. (This is no longer there).
