Summary
A Frena Gelatine Silver film negative depicting a view of the Entrance archway to the Bishops Palace (now Museum of Fine Arts of Tours) and St Gatien Cathedral, Tours, France. The negative has rectangular cutouts on the top and bottom.The view is taken from the ground level, down Rue Lavoisier and shows the cathedral fascade covered in wooden scaffolding.There are several people walking around and a covered horse-drawn carriage in the right foreground. .
