Summary
A sepia toned celluloid oval image of a woman, in a rectangular green case. The case is hinged on both edges, opening in the centre with a decorative gilt clasp. The case has a texture of horizontal lines, which are slightly curved. On the back is a hinged trapezium strut , which fits into the frame leaving the back flat. On the strut in a gold colour is printed ' U.S.A.Studios London & Provinces.', above which on a small paper label is written the number 83. The inside of the cover is a brown watered silk, which has worn on the left side. The oval portrait is surrounded by a brown plush material.
