Summary
Moulded black plastic mourning locket containing miniature albumen print portrait of a man (right side) and a lock of hair (left side), in silver mounts. The locket has a monogram of interlaced textured initials CBY moulded on the front. The locket has a metal hinge and there is a metal and black plastic loop on the top. The plastic is moulded into a faceted design around the edges of the locket and on the top loop. Inside the right side of the locket is a half length portrait of a man with a long beard, resting his left hand against his cheek. Inside the left side of the locket is lined with purple paper, upon which a lock of hair has been arranged in two intertwined curls. Glass covers both sides of the interior.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
