Summary
Gelatine silver prints on either side of a fabric tape measure in nickel-plated case, depicting George V & Queen Mary on one side and their son, Prince Edward of Wales on the other. The photograph of George V and Queen Mary is a composite image. The Prince of Wales is wearing a naval cadet uniform cap and jacket. The tape measure is 3 feet (36") long. It is made of fabric, with a metal looped tab on the end and printed in blue ink.

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
