An albumen print of Ramla (Ramleh) Racecourse, Palestine now Israel, in a mount, but unframed. The foreground shows a marked track, possibly the actual course. Right and centre on a slight hill are a row of military bell tents, with one side open to the course. There are a small number of people around, together with a horse lying down. There are a large number of flags flying, the most common of which is the Turkish flag. There are several large municipal buildings in the background. The image is rectangular, mounted on cream card. There are no markings.
