Summary
A gelatine silver stereoscopic glass slide depicting Le Sommet du Buet et l'aiguille d'Argentiere (Savoie). The image shows the snow covered summit with mountains in the background. Part of a series by Ferrier père, fils et Soulier (Charles Soulier and Claude-Marie Ferrier) is partially visible on the bottom right hand corner of the slide. A glass slide comprising two stereographic pictures on one piece of glass, and covered with a second piece of glass inside. There is black paper around the outer edges to bind the two pieces of glass. Markings: White paper label, on right-hand edge, handwritten in black ink: "4563 Le Sommet du Buet et l'aiguille d'Argentiere (Savoie)" Printed within the black border of the slide, bottom left, is: "4563 Le Sommet du Buet et l'aiguille d'Argentiere (Savoie)". Printed within the black border of the slide, bottom right, is: "Ferrier pere, fils et Souiler"
