Summary
A gelatine silver stereoscopic glass slide depicting a panorama of Madrid, taken from the Tower of St Cruz church, Madrid. It shows the roofs of houses and several churches, with the mountains in the background. A glass slide comprising two stereographic pictures on one piece of glass, and covered with a second piece of glass inside. There is black paper around the outer edges to bind the two pieces of glass. Markings: On a white paper label on the righthand edge of the slide is handwritten in black ink: "401 Panorama de Madrid, Mis de la tour de St Cruz " Handwritten above the black border of the slide, bottom left, is: "401 Panorama de Madrid" Handwritten above the black border of the slide, bottom right, is: "Boinette OG" (Difficult to read)
