Summary
A gelatine silver stereoscopic glass slide depicting the Perseus, Vatican Museums, Rome. The image is sepia toned. The slide is a single piece of glass, unmounted and unframed. In the space between the left and right images is printed a number 5 in a circle, followed by "Edizione dei Musei e Gallerie Pontificie". Slide 5 in Box 2.
Provenance
Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
