Summary
A gelatine silver stereoscopic glass slide depicting a statue on a plinth in an alcove. The statue is of the Trojan priest Laocoön and his sons being attacked by sea serpents. The statue is in the Vatican museum, Rome. The image is sepia toned. The slide is a single piece of glass, unmounted and unframed. In the space between the left and right images is printed a number 1 in a circle, followed by "Edizione dei Musei e Gallerie Pontificie". Slide 1 in Box 2.
