Summary
A gelatine silver stereoscopic glass slide. The scene shows - a canoe on the river Zambezi, above Livingstone, Zambia. Three Europeans are in the canoe, which is being punted by a native African. Two further Africans are in the shallows, manhandling the canoe. A glass slide comprising two stereographic pictures separated by a thin glass panel with a black fabric tape border: on the bottom left corner is handwritten "Above Livingstone".

Part of the Fenton Collection. A gift from British Film Institute in 2017. From 1986-1999, part of BFI collection for the Museum of the Moving Image. BFI purchased collection in 1986 from James Fenton's Museum of Photography, Port Erin, Isle of Man 1976-1986.
